What does vernacular mean? And what are all these paper photographs?

To find out, all that’s left is to embark on a journey through time with the help of a very special book. In The Album of 100 Children (Sabìr, 2024), writer Marianna Balducci played with photographs of her dearest friends: she observed them, altered them, and… you would never believe it, but she even listened to them! Because yes, photographs can speak too, and they have lots of stories to tell. Would you like to try as well? How many stories can emerge from a single photograph?
