Daniele Francesconi is the Scientific Director of festivalfilosofia. He is also currently a member of the Board of Directors of Fondazione Ago Modena Fabbriche Culturali. A scholar of the history of political thought and historiography, he has conducted research on eighteenth-century British culture, with particular focus on the Scottish Enlightenment. On these subjects, he has published a monograph with Il Mulino as well as numerous essays and articles in books and academic journals. In 2024, he published his first novel, L’intruso, with Incontri editrice.
