Theophilus Imani

Theophilus Imani is a visual researcher whose work investigates the representation of the Black body within diasporic visual culture. His practice intertwines archival research, visual criticism, and artistic production, exploring the ways in which images contribute to the construction of Blackness within both the Italian and global contexts. Imani has lectured in the Visual Research Methods course at the University of Padua, and his work is included in the collections of MUDEC and Triennale Milano.
