Photobooks for Breakfast is a format created by Sugar Paper as a monthly gathering that combines the pleasure of breakfast with the fascination of the photobook. Croissants, specialty coffee, and photobooks become a meeting point for enthusiasts, curious visitors, and anyone wishing to gently approach contemporary photography. The morning begins with a convivial moment: an opportunity to have breakfast and converse within the evocative setting of the inner courtyard of the medieval castle of Guiglia. Afterwards, Alex Tabellini, Samantha Azzani, and Marcello Coslovi present five carefully selected photobooks connected by the theme On Ethics, the guiding thread of the fifth edition of GU.PHO. Festival.

The format usually takes place at our venue in Modena, but is often hosted externally as well, mainly within festivals dedicated to contemporary photography.
